How to do a thing
This document explains the process of changing payment methods on an active plan.
Additional Information
The steps outlined in this document can be used to add a new payment method, or select an already existing payment method. Both options are explained separately within this guide.
How-to
To make changes or view your plan in Payble you will need to sign in using the same authentication method used when setting up your plan (mobile or email).
You will not be able to view your plan if you haven’t authenticated with the exact same method. If your plans and payments don’t appear right away, click your Council’s logo at the top of the page to return to your profile, or the Home button.
Desktop/laptop browser the Home button is located on the top banner.

Mobile browser the Home button is located under the menu button.

Once you are on your profile page, you’ll see a list of your active and past payment plans.
Next, tap View details on the active plan you want to adjust the payment method for.

Next, click Manage and then Change payment method.

Option 1 - The below section outlines the steps for adding a new payment method - skip to the next section if selecting an existing payment method.
To add an entirely new payment method, click the Manage button, and then Add Payment Method.

Choose between adding a new Credit/Debit Card or Bank account.

When adding a new payment method, you have the ability to add it automatically to all active plans, or specific plans using the toggle shown below.
After the form has been completed, click Acknowledge and continue. If the toggle above is enabled, the next step can be skipped as the payment method is automatically assigned to the plan.
Select the new payment method, and then click Change Payment Method to finalise. All future payments will be made using this plan.
Option 2 - Selecting an existing payment method
Displayed will be any existing payment methods available for use, including any surcharges if applicable.

Make a selection, and then click Change Payment Method to finalise. All future payments for this plan will be made using this payment method.
